Lyndsey was originally from Selby but had been in prostitution in Leeds to fund a drug addiction.
Lyndsey was killed and dismembered by her client Stuart Burns, 30, in his flat after a fight about money. He grabbed her round the neck to restrain her and she slumped to the floor. Her was cut up the bath of the flat and ferried to the woods in sacks and bin liners. He told a suspicious taxi driver that the bloody bag he was carrying contained rabbits. Burns took Lyndsey’s body to Woodhouse Ridge in four separate trips, burying the parts in the undergrowth.
Burns was sentenced to life in prison.
