She had a deep love for animals and had three pets herself. She enjoyed traveling.
Sophia died of an accidental drug overdose, authorities announced in August 24.
She was found dead in her Albuquerque home March 1. Her death was initially being investigated as “suspicious” and “unique,” police said at the time, although there were no reported signs of trauma on her body.
Albuquerque police confirmed that she accidentally overdosed, though it’s not clear which substances she had ingested.
Sophia’s mother told police that her daughter had a history of suicidal thoughts and was known to drink heavily.
