🇺🇸🇦🇺 Sexindustrykills is a documentation project that has been collecting deaths in the sex industry since 2013.
Its is dedicated to all the women (and others) we lost in prostitution and pornography. 💔
You are not forgotten!
The research started with 23 cases in Germany and now includes more than 3,000 deaths.
We are based in and our focus is on Germany.
Our database now contains cases from 84 countries, with a focus on German- and English-speaking countries.
So how does the page work?
The individual posts are usually made on the sad anniversary of the death.
The hashtags used include countries, cities, federal states, type of death, decade in which the death is historically located, … You can customize the search in the entries almost at will, depending on your personal interest.
There is a subscribe function. This will automatically inform you of new posts.

Wir sind in Deutschland ansässig und unser Fokus liegt auf Deutschland.
Unsere Datenbank enthält jedoch inzwischen Fälle aus 84 Ländern, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf den deutsch- und englischsprachigen Ländern liegt.
Wie funktioniert die Seite nun?
Die einzelnen Beiträge werden in der Regel am Jahrestag des Todes erstellt.
Zu den verwendeten Hashtags gehören Länder, Städte, Bundesländer, Todesart, Jahrzehnt, in dem der Tod historisch verortet ist, … Die Suche in den Einträgen kann man fast beliebig anpassen, je nach persönlichem Interesse.
Es gibt eine Abonnement-Funktion. Damit wirst du automatisch über neue Einträge informiert.
