Julie was murdered by serial killer Andrew Urdiales. She was shot repeatedly after he had used her for sex. Her remains, stripped of identification, were later found in a remote desert area.. After the murder he drove to a bar „where he drank some beer and watched the girls dance”.
Urdiales committed suicide in prison in 2018.
