Destiny was a victim of sex trafficking and had told her father that she owed money to her trafficker.
Destiny was in a car with a man and her 5-month-old daughter heading for Atlanta when they stopped at a Jacksonville gas station and she was shot.
The police report said a man dropped her off at the hospital, where she died.
No arrests have been made.
