Shaquierra had come home about a month ago from Watertown, New York, because she was homesick for her family. She had earned a certified nurse’s assistant certificate from Daytona State College, but could not find a job in her field in Watertown and ended up working at a Family Dollar store.
She left behind two daughters — an 18-month-old and a 3-year-old — and was four months pregnant. The man who impregnated her wanted her to get an abortion. „But she didn’t want to do that,“ her mother told media.
The day she disappeared, Shaquierra was pictured in a skimpy outfit in an ad under the escort section of Backpage. She called herself „Poison.“ In her ad, said she had „zero tolerance“ for violence.Shaquierra’s body was badly burned beyond recognition and during an autopsy.
