Bella grew up in a broken family, got kicked out of home at age 16.
She was 18 when she stumbled into a peep show which kicked off her career in the sex work industry. She worked at brothels in Sydney and Melbourne.
She wrote how she battled depression, attempted to end her life on her 21st birthday.
In recent years, Bella had moved to West Footscray, where she lived with her two cats, Sunshine and Dandelion, and found hiking as a new hobby and had booked an interstate hike in Tasmania for later this year.
Bella was most known in the comedy world for her stand-up. She began her comedy career by performing in brothels across Sydney and Melbourne, and her debut stand-up hour, ‘Bella Green is Charging For It’, earned her several awards including the Best Comedy Award at the Adelaide Fringe in 2020.
She died from suicide.
