Lenuta lived in Lincoln. She was originally from Arad, Sânmartin and had left to work in England as a housekeeper in 2015. She was mother of two sons, age 3 and 13, who lived with the grandparents in Romania, but where visiting their parents at the time of the murder.
Lenuta was strangled and stabbed to death by her client Casey Scott, 29. Scott had booked her for 150 British Pounds for an hour through an Online Escort Agency page.
Scott was obsessed with the Jack the Ripper murders and painted the word „Jack“ on her abdomen in ink and took a photograph. He was sentenced to a minimum of 19 years behind bars.
