Garry Harding, age 22, from Welshpool, a former client, pleaded guilty to murder and was jailed for life in April 2007. The trial at Birmingham CC heard he stole £330. He had huge gambling debts. Harding had researched on the internet on how to commit murder (search terms „throat cutting“, „silent death“, „silent killing“, „quick murders“, „how to kill someone“)
After the double murder Harding went home and watched the England versus Portugal World Cup football match on television.
