(Rasheeda) was a successful rapper who was working on new music, and starred in the barrier-breaking, award-winning Sundance Film Festival documentary, „Kokomo City.“
At around 11pm on April 18, 2023, (Rasheeda) was found dead with a gunshot wound on a sidewalk near Holmes Shopping Plaza in Southwest Atlanta
Atlanta Police said homicide detectives were able to secure arrest warrants for murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm against 17-year-old Jermarcus Jernigan, who is being charged as an adult under Georgia law.
