Marc was born Mark Kuttner in Brooklyn in 1943. He was the third of four children born to first generation Jewish parents Walter and Hannah. He attended Midwood High School in Brooklyn. His name was later legally changed to Stevens.
Marc appeared in over 80 pornographic movies; and lived next door to Annie Sprinkle. He was married to Jill Monroe and Miranda Stevens.
Marc died of AIDS on January 28, 1989, aged 45 in New York City.
