Claudia was under psychiatric treatment for alcoholism. She had been living in the city for more than five years, lived alone, had no relatives in the area and worked as a housekeeper.
She was stabbed in the neck at her home.
A 17 year-old minor turned himself in at the police station of Rincón de los Sauces, admitting to being the perpetrator of the murder of Claudia. He had gone to pay her for sexual acts at her home.The teenager went to the police station with his mother, handed over the alleged murder weapon and said that he sold the two cell phones, he had stolen from the victim’s house.
The perpetrator was sentenced to one year of treatment with institutional placement where his conduct will be evaluated. Since he was a minor when he committed the crime, he had to live in a home accompanied by operators 24 hours a day. But just two months after killing Claudia he was again arrested after robbing a taxi driver in Neuquén capital and later a man who was in a bus shelter. In December 2019 he killed again. This time, he argued with a neighbor from Senillosa and stabbed him more than 10 times all over his body.
